Terms & Agreements

We're all in this together.

Meals For Meds is a program that is intended to provide immediate relief in the form of meals to healthcare professionals & staff currently working at healthcare facilities located in the United States impacted by the COVID-19 virus.

The Program.

The online platform, located at http://www.mealsformeds.com, will act as a landing page to help facilitate requests from Eligible Healthcare Workers and to encourage and facilitate additional third-party donations to Travelers Education Group, a Nebraska nonprofit corporation ("TravCon") for the Meals for Meds Program. Pledged funds will help provide meals for Eligible Healthcare Workers by utilizing local restaurants as the food supplier.

Eligible Healthcare Workers.

Eligible Healthcare Workers must be professional healthcare workers and staff currently serving in a healthcare facility located in the United States impacted by the current global pandemic related to the COVID-19 virus. To be eligible for a meal through the Program, the Eligible Healthcare Workers must be currently working at a facility or hospital that is serving patients suffering from the COVID-19 virus. No preference will be given to current or former employees of any Pledged Partners.

Meal Requests.

Requests for meals for Eligible Healthcare Workers will be processed on a first-come first-served basis based on receipt of such requests through the Platform within pre-defined parameters (up to 1,000  meals per day to allow processing time). Meal requests will be prioritized based off of facilities working in critical COVID-19 locations. Not all submissions on the Platform landing page may be approved, eligible, or granted meal credit. All selections of meals will be made based off of local restaurants or delivery restaurants. TravCon and its Pledged Partners or volunteers are not responsible for lost gift cards.

Pledged Amount.

Donations can be made via a payment portal owned and maintained by Travelers Education Group (TravCon). Travelers Education Group is a qualified tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charity. 100% of donation amount (minus PayPal processing fees) will be utilized to provide meals for healthcare workers; no other overhead exists. Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments (no fee removed from donation) can be arranged upon request to "info@travelersconference.com". All donors, regardless of donation size, will become Pledged Partners. Pledged Partners will have the option to place their photograph (if an individual) or entity logo (if a corporation) on the Platform landing page. TravCon thanks Fusion for its generous pledge of an initial donation of $100,000 to TravCon for the Program and its pledge to donate up to an additional $150,000 once the program launches. The program will end when donations and funds from all Pledged Partners have been exhausted.
